Community Forest RIghts (CFR) have immense potential to empower tribal communities. Neel and Priyanka from Institute of Public Policy, during their fieldwork visit to Rahu village in Melghat (Maharashtra), witnessed one such success story of CFR, achieved through tribal community coming together to claim their rights with the help of KHOJ (Melghat) and creating a sustainable and bottom-up approach to development.
