Candidates with a graduate degree from any discipline

All India Competitive Examination and Interviews for the admission are held through three screeing stages.

Stage 1: POLICY APTITUDE TEST (PAT) : 60% weight

  • A computer based multiple-choice test to be taken from designated centres in following cities only : Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhopal,  Bhubhaneswar, Chennai, Delhi, Goa, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Ranchi, Pune, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Mangalore, Patna & Visakapatnam.
  • Pattern and syllabus for the test will be made available only to registered candidates.

Stage 2: Candidates with cut-off mark of 50% in PAT will be invited to write an essay on a given topic on the day of interview (20% weight).

Stage 3:  Those who are eligible for Stage 2 are invited to attend a personal interview (via Zoom) with faculty board (20% weight).

Intake and Reservation Maximum of 70 candidates are admitted for the programme. Reservation for appropriate categories is as follows.

a) Scheduled Caste : 15%
b) Scheduled Tribe : 7.5%
c) Specially abled persons (SAP) : 3%
