LL.B (2000), Government Law College Ernakulam, Kerala; LL.M (2003),School of Indian legal Thought, Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, Kerala. Ph.D. (2014), Cochin University of Science And Technology, Kochi Kerala Topic- Rights of Women Against Domestic Violence, The Law and Emerging Challenges. She has qualified the Karnataka State Eligibility Test for Lecturer/Assistant Professorship, 2014.

She practiced as an advocate in the trial courts and also at the High Court of Kerala for about 5 years. She started her teaching career in the year 2005, as Lecturer at Government Law College, Thrissur, Kerala (2005-2007) and also taught at School of Legal Studies, Cochin University of Science And Technology, Kochi.

She joined the Law School as Teaching Associate in September, 2010. Presently she is working as Assistant Professor of Law. She teaches Labour Laws and Human Rights for the Undergraduate Course. Alongside, she teaches Introduction to Law and Legal methods for the Postgraduate Course, Master of Public Policy Programme at NLSIU, Bengaluru. Her areas of academic interest include Human Rights Law, Labour Law, Procedural Laws and Administrative Law.

She is the Co-ordinator for the ENVIS Centre on Environmental law and Policy, Sponsored by Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change at the Law School. She is currently the Expert Member, Building and other Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment and conditions of Service)Act,1996,Expert Committee nominated by Government of Karnataka,2014. She was the Co-ordinator to the Central University of Tamil Nadu, Thiruvarur- Para-Legal Training Course, 2014- 2016. She is currently the Warden for the Ladies Halls of Residence at NLSIU, Bangalore.

She has to her credit about 30 articles pertaining to human rights issues in general and Labour issues in specific related to the vulnerable sections of population in various reputed national and international journals and has presented several papers at the International, National and State level Seminars and Conferences.

She visited Germany, twice consistently in the years June,2015 and November 2016 as Resource Person for the International Teaching Week organized by Hof University of Applied Sciences, Germany and delivered lectures on Industrial Disputes Act,1947, Employees Compensation Act,1923 and Child Labour –Indian Perspective to the student delegates from across the globe. She delivered Lecture on Civil Procedure Code and Alternate Dispute Resolution Mechanisms in India at the School of Law, Yunnan University, Kunming, China. She participated in the ADB Regional Capacity Development Technical Assistance Strengthening Capacity for Environmental and Climate Change Laws in Asia and the Pacific Train –the –Trainers Program, 28th May,2018 to June 1st ,2018 Colombo.

She has been a regular invited Speaker for the Seminars organised by the National Human Rights Commission. She has been the invited speaker for mentoring programmes /workshops organized by the State Human Rights Commission, Karnataka and the International Justice Mission on topics related to bonded labour, human trafficking, migration and child labour. Alongside, she is resource Person for National Academy of Direct Taxes, Direct Taxes Regional Training Institute, Bangalore, Karnataka Power Corporation, HAL Management Trainee (Legal) Orientation Programme, Administrative Training Institute, Mysore, the Distance Education Department at NLSIU, Bangalore and has also been the resource person for the orientation programmes imparted for the officers in Civil Service rendered by NLSIU, Bangalore.
